Happy Birthday John Logan

Wow, I cannot believe it is almost June 1st and my baby is almost 1 year old. It makes me a little sad to think how fast the year has passed. We have been busier than I could ever imagine the past year with our move to WR, apartment living while we built our house, and now getting settled. Josh returned safe and sound from deployment in April and we were more than thankful to have him home. Emma just finished 3-k and had a dance recital which was absolutely adorable. Now it is summer time and we have some vacations planned and fun times at the pool ahead.

John Logan will turn 1 on Monday and I just can't believe it has gone so fast. He is such a sweet little baby, busy as can be chasing his big sister. He is starting to stand for short periods of time by himself and will be walking before we know it.....I had forgotten how quick they can get into the things they aren't supposed to. :) Too fun!

Merry Christmas!

Our house is busy and crazy as most are this time of year. Last week Emma had her Christmas program at preschool, dance performance, and Happy Birthday Jesus party. We were very busy but had so much fun! We really enjoyed my Mom's visit and were so sad to see her go. We look forward to her coming back once the house is ready.

John Logan doesn't have a clue about Santa but this year is SO much fun with Emma. She is so anxious to see what Santa is going to leave under our very small Christmas tree. I feel like a kid again at Christmas just getting excited for her. :)

Our house is moving along, even though it just looks like a lot of dirt/rocks. It is very exciting and hopefully they will start pouring foundation soon. John Logan did have his 6 month check up a few weeks ago and weighed 20 lbs 3 oz and is 28 inches long. He is in the 91% for length and 87th for weight. We have big babies. :) He is doing great and is still trying to figure out how to crawl. He is still just rolling anywhere and everywhere trying to keep up with his big sister.

I am gearing up for the National Championship game next month. I am flying out to go with my brother and needless to say I am just too excited! Josh is going to stay with the kids and I am off to Miami. I can't wait!!! Other than that I don't have anything else to report. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Busy Bees

I cannot believe another few months have passed and John Logan is 6 months old. We have our check up on Monday and we also begin construction on our new house the same day. We are VERY excited!

John and Emma are doing great! John Logan is always happy and smiles at anything and everything. Emma is busy getting ready for Christmas program at preschool and having so much fun at dance. We found a little Christmas tree that would fit in our apartment and Emma is too excited for Christmas this year. Now instead of time out we just have to remind her that "Santa is watching" if she isn't acting nice (which isn't too often).

John is trying so hard to crawl. He would do anything to be able to keep up with Emma. He absolutely loves his big sister, and she is still fairly indifferent. He is babbling and said "da da" this morning. He is eating baby food and starting to drink a little water from a sippy cup. I can't believe how fast he is growing.

My Mom is coming to visit next week and I am counting down the days. We have lots of fun things planned and hopefully some shopping too. I guess that is pretty much all that is going on around our house (apartment). I will update John's stats after our appointment Monday.

Time flies

Well, each time I post I promise to update sooner but time just gets away from me. Emma and John Logan are doing GREAT! John is having rice cereal now along with some yummy green beans. He is still not sure about the green beans. Emma loves her new school and is enjoying her ballet/tap class too. We sure do seem to stay busy these days. We hope to break ground on our new house soon, but I am becoming spoiled to the easy apartment living. :)

I can't believe John is already 4 1/2 months old. He weighed 17 lbs 4 oz at his 4 month check-up. He is definitely a healthy fellow. He is going to catch up to Emma soon. Other than that we do not have too much to report. I will update again soon!

Smiley

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!

Tea for Two

Emma's friend Olivia had a tea party for her third birthday last week. We had a blast and enjoyed our "girl time" so much.

Crazy Life

I cannot believe John Logan is 3 months old and Emma started 3K last week. Time is going by too fast!! We have been super busy getting things ready for our big move. We sold our house and will be building soon. We are very excited but a little sad to leave our old house behind. We have so many wonderful memories here....Emma is not excited about the move, but I think she will adjust quickly. John is smiling and cooing all of the time. He is already teething and we think his first tooth will come in any day. I guess they are right when they say the second one does everything a little faster. Once we get settled in our apartment I will upload some new pictures of the kids. We are actually looking forward to apartment living for a few months just to have a break from "house projects". Stay tuned.....
